July Challenge - Love the Skin You're In Day 28
Today
we're going to do a short all-over workout. We'll start with a little cardio, and then do some core work, then finish with a quick period of stretching.As usual, if today's workout does not grab you, feel free to do the workout from another day, or take a walk to get your workout today. While you're walking, do some arm circles to make sure you're getting that all over workout we're aiming for today.
We'll start with a "5 minute cardio workout ".
No extra equipment is needed - just you, and the video. This should get your blood pumping, which is great for your heart.
Our second video is about 10 minutes, and it's called "Standing Abs Exercises". She does use a basketball as equipment in this video - anything that size should work. This is standing ab work, so you won't be doing any crunchies.
Our third video is a 5 minutes cool-down stretch routine called "Kelli's Quick Cool Down and Stretch." It does not require any equipment, and should help make sure that you feel up to tomorrow's workout. : )
Our other option, mentioned above, is not a video - take a nice long walk (30 minutes) to get your legs in constant motion. Walking is very good for you. Check out this great article from the Mayo Clinic for a weight loss plan based entirely on walking.
